All you can eat!

One of the more frequent sights in Leicester Square (aka Chinatown) are small eateries boasting 'Chinese Buffet' Only **.** pounds (fill in the blank. The price ranges between 4.99 to 7.99 pounds. During our second week in London, we unknowingly stumbled into one of the cheaper joint. It was my fault, I'm always the one who values quantity over quality, but I believe I'm not the only guy with that thinking...

Anyway, it's doesn't feel quite right the moment we stepped in. We were shooed to a table and left to our own devices. One more tell tale sign is that other than us, the rest of the customers are caucasians... well, there are some Singaporeans as well. We can smell each other out from our mannerism. "Wah... I thought this one very good value... wah lau eh... only like that huh..." You get the idea....

Other than the madantory sweet and sour pork, there's (over) fried chicken drumlets, some cursory cabbage stew, half-fried rice and of course the barely cooked noodles! If Londoners take that as the representation of Chinese cruisine, we're done for. Please, for those who are thinking of going into such a shop... please know what you're getting yourself into... Btw, we left after the second serving... the sweet and sour pork's container is not being topped up...
