Battersea Park

That's the view on top of Albert Bridge. Crossed that from Chelsea to Battersea Park. Mentioned to an acquaintance, who has been in London a few years back, that I planned to visit Battersea. He was rather suprised as it gave him an impression of being a dodgy place. But the place has been 'cleaned' up during that period that he wasn't here and the park is now filled with families during weekends.

It's very different from Hyde Park and the landscaping really reminds me of Toa Payoh Central before its refurbishment. The mosiac, the old style fountain the pavements. You have to see it to know what I'm talking about. There's even a Japanese Buddha pagoda in it! I couldn't believe my eyes when I saw it.

Got a cup of mocha and a good book. Laid down on a knoll (quite accustom to that now) and spent some time taking in the fresh air. Hmm...
