Da Vinci code... Lourve Museum

The Parisian museum made famous by Da Vinci Code. You can catch a glimpse of the glass pyramid on the extreme left. I decided that the main wing makes a better photo. Boy... I was right.

With over 30,000 items on display at any one time, I was naive enough to assume that I can cover the entire museum in a day. But like a good tourist, I made a beeline for Mona Lisa and Wings of Victory.

Mona Lisa, as expectedly, was swamped by like minded people. It was so popular that it was the only exhibit that has a large semicircle perimeter and protected by glass. Even then, I'm not too sure whether that small display (from where I was, it looked small) is the real thing. Took some pictures of that and moved on to other more interesting exhibits...
