Bathroom down AGAIN...

The landlord sent his handyman down again to rip up our bathroom again. Apparently, the repairs wasn't well done the last time round; the silicon didn't stick and it's leaking through to the bathroom below.

Was rather pissed off as it means that we can't use the shower for another 48 hours. To make the matter worse, he insinuated that we used the shower the last time round before the silicon dried up and started ranting on and on about how good his (Romanian) worker is.

Somehow, it didn't dawn to him that it's not in our interest to wreck his silicon work. No one wants his bathroom to be down every other week. Besides, he claimed credit for the fact that the flat is well maintained. Yeah right, notwithstanding the leaking boiler, leaking plumbing, holes in the wall and a window that doesn't close properly. He called this 'acceptable risk of any London accomodation'. Imagaine that.

Apologies for the ranting session. Just need an avenue to do that.

Oh dear. And I thought a place without sunlight and enough windows was bad enough. Seems like London has pretty bad housing issues, eh?
Take card Mr. Woo, I'll send some silicon over. Hehe!

Well, the silicon seems dried now. Keeping my fingers crossed though.

Very surprised with the "service orientated" mentality westerners seem to "have".....
