Tonight marks the anniversary of the day Guy Fawkes and his gang was caught red handed trying to blow up the parliament house, thereby eradicating the government if he had succeeded. Londoners celebrated this day by lighting bonfires with Guy's effigy and setting off fireworks all over the capital.

They have been at it since the sky darken at 5pm (yes 5pm!) It has been three hours since. Fireworks is going all round our area especially near the open areas. It's thr first time we can see fireworks just from outside our windows and it's really nice with the cool breeze (7 deg celsius) blowing onto our face.

The ear shattering explosions reminds me of this Band of Brothers episode... ok, let's not get morbid here...
