Victoria and Albert

I spent a whole day at Victoria and Albert museum... and a few mor days after that. It's fanscinating just to stare at all the artifacts that Britain secure at it's height of power from around their empire. I mean... where else can you feast your eyes on Napolean's gift to Josephine, Couture of Paris and London, the largest carpet in the Muslim world (3,900 knots in 10 cm square), an whole array of Japanese Samurai armour and swords, Chinese Guanying, plaster casts of Greek tragedy figures, stain glass since the beginning of time among other things. Oh yah... please check out the cafe in the VnA museum. It's a joy just to sip a cup of tea under the opulent settings of the magnificent room.
