Kew Gardens is situated at... well, next to Kew Gardens Tube station, which is in Zone 3. Took us near to an hour of travelling to get there. Decided to get the Sunday Times to read on our way back but fell asleep instead. Ok, let's not deviate.
Anyway, decided to get away from the hustle and bustle of London Central and immerse ourselves into the patch of greenery that entices much of the local population. The main attraction is the greenhouse, which houses some of the 'exotic' plants from tropics. That include those that I spent 2 1/2 years of my life bashing through... was driven insane by the intense humidity the moment I stepped in. We took to the exit without missing a beat.
