Minefield for Interviewers

It's more precarious to be an interviewer these days. Politically correctness rule that there are more questions that you cannot ask than those that you can. One can hardly blame the British interviewers who face the wrath of tribunals should the job seekers feel that their right is being violated. As a result of which, it has become more difficult for bosses to guage the potential employees' personality.

However, there're some managers out there who get rather creative in getting round the problem.

"Are you in London alone?" (Meaning whether you're married)

"So how are you adjusting to life in London?" (Meaning are you married with kids)

The list just goes on...
