Touring London on a shoestring budget..

This coming week is going to be a crazy week for me 'cause two of my friends back home are visiting me in London. So it's up to me to plan their itinery. Having been told that they're going to bring only 600 quid for a ten day stay (gulp!), I would have to work round their not so generous budget. Considering that a 3 day stay in Scotland is included, it seems that we have to rely on parks and museums (those free ones) and of course the famed 2 hrs London Walks to fill up the days.

Below is the tentative plan.

Tower of London, Tower Bridge, Tate Modern, London Eye, Westminster, Westminster Abbey

Buckingham Palace, Camden market, Primose Hill, London Walk 1

Borough's Market, Trafalgar Square, British Museum, National Gallery, Portrait Gallery

Leceister Square, Piccadilly Circus, Covent Garden, Plays

Greenwich, London Walk 2

Oxford Street, Hyde Park, Harrods, Natural History Museum

That and the sandwiches lunches. Who says London cannot be affordable? I am now busy congratulating myself.

Thanks! Getting abit tired of patting myself on the back. :)

Sure thing! You can count on me for that. But with Eurostar, you can really get much more with a little boost in your budget. Might as well spend a bit more since you've come halfway round the globe. :)

Can I hitch a ride in your friends' luggage? I can sleep in the park and eat scraps.... that could save me a
lot. hahaha.....
