A series on tips when travelling

I've been doing quite abit of travelling of late and I thought that it'll be useful to come up with a series of posts that feature tips for travelling. Not the conventional ones that you'll find in Lonely Planet, but things that you'll probably never read about in guide books.

- Tips when planning for a trip

- Tips when flying

- Tips during your trip

- Tips when you return

These lists are of course not exhaustive and I'll be glad to hear from you if you have anything else to add. Cheers!

@ladybanana,
Well, you can always take a short weekend trip. I mean, even a weekend cottage stay in Wales can probably do lots of good.

@sher,
Tips on lotto? lol, why not you tell me? Will share the prize with you if I hit the jackpot.

The bridge accident was crazy. But it just goes to show how much we take these bridges for granted...

Great, now whenever I hear the 'mind the gap' announcement, I'll think of your comment... lol

Guess what... my mates from France told me "Mind the Gap" are probably the first few English words they picked up! :P After "Next Please!"

@sher,
Really? I thought it should be 'Mind the Gap, pip pip pip...'

Ok, that was a lame one...
