Tin Tin store in London

Tin Tin was one of my favorite comics when I was a kid. His madcap adventures with his dog (don't recall its name) entertained me to no end. I would spend hours combing the entire library for Tin Tin series and actually bought a few when pocket money stash allowed for that.

I didn't know that Tin Tin originates from Belgium and found that out only during a trip to Brussels. We didn't get any comics then because there was none in English. So imagine my excitement when I discovered a shop just off Covent Garden specialising in Tin Tin merchandise.

To all Tin Tin fans out there in London, this store is just sitting about 100m from Covent Garden Tube Station itself. Check out the website (on the window pane) now!

I got my own little collection at home. But having an entire store devoted to it? I would hang out there all day.

Do you know that Tin tin is one of the most racist comic strips ever made? :P
Some of the rudest french words I ever learnt are from Tin tin!!

@kyh,
Cartoons? I didn't know that they do animation for Tin Tin as well. Actually, I would have prefer the static comics anyway.

Yep, I found that out out Smurfs in Brussels. I couldn't get over the fact that Smurfette was sent to trap all the Smurfs! I'm trumatised!

@lina,
Hey, I'm a fan of Asterix. In fact, I'm torn between those two. Actually, I prefer Asterix. I could never figured out why those Romans are so dumb! Or how Snowy (thanks, Capybara) could be so intelligent.

@capybara,
I think there's a Tin Tin in all of us, my friend... Cheers!

@jasmine shanea,
Hey, glad to see you back again! I'm one of those who hid in a corner hoarding all those Tin Tin (and Asterix) comics. That was probably why you couldn't find them. lol

@C K,
a fellow Asterix fan. I used to monopolise the Asterix books in my school's library. (Seemed like I was the only one reading them and I annoy my teachers because I was reading comics.) :D

@lina,
Sometimes I just wonder whether it's the colourful pictures or the storyline. It seems that Tin Tin and Asterix got many of us hook when we were kids.
