Project slingSHORT by Creative [SIN]ergy - a collection of short films by Singaporean filmmakers

Homesick? Or simply curious about how Singaporeans perceive their lives on their tiny tropical isle? Here's another event to add to your calendar in February.

In Project slingSHORT, Creative [SIN]ergy, a representative body for the creative industries amongst both the Singaporean professional and student community in the UK, brings together a collection of seven short films by Singaporean filmmakers in a single viewing.

This event, which is scheduled for just a one night viewing at Singapore's High Commission in London on 26th Feb 2010, is definitely for the Singaporean community over here in London and those who are interested to find out more about the subtleties of Singaporeans' daily life. For a short write-up of each film, please refer to Creative SINergy: Project slingSHORT.

For just £8, you'll be treated to a buffet and free flow of beverages at the Singapore High Commission for the evening. This discount is only available if you pre-order (email to info@creativesinergy.com) - tickets purchased at the door will be priced at £10. All proceeds will go towards The Substation.

Drat. Had I known, I'd have postponed my visit to Sadler's Wells (for their annual Flamenco gala) to the next day, and gone to this Slingfest instead...Are you going?

@Feanor,
Ah... didn't know that you count flamenco among your many talents. :)

Unfortunately, I got something on that night and wouldn't be able to make it to Slingfest. If I had known...

@Orangesplash,
Thanks for stopping by. But of course! Cheers!
