It's time of the year again to dig deep into our pockets to splash out for Christmas goodies. Yep, am talking about the tree with baubles and all, roast feast, presents and of course little stocking fillers be it for impromptu presents or that Secret Santa thing that you have in the office.
Stocking filler is the trickiest. It's always a fine balance between getting something affordable yet doesn't look cheap, and yet wouldn't be chucked out the moment the wrappers are off. Wouldn't it be grand if there is a one stop store for all that?
Tiger, which first Central London store opened along Tottenham Court Road in August and its tills have been ringing non-stop since then. And for good reasons too - this Danish brand offers cheap chic that is functional yet fun. Soft toys, stationery, ornaments, dining ware, dressing up accessories - all for a couple of quids. In fact, you'd be hard-pressed to find anything above £10 (most items can be had under a fiver) in the store. Lest you miss out any items, the entire store is laid out in such a way that there is only one path from entrance to checking out counter - you'll have to pass by every single item on display. A joy more than a chore to be honest.
Forget the high street stores at Regent and Oxford Streets this Christmas. Tiger at Tottenham Court Road is where you'd want to be hunting for last minute Christmas bargains.

Tiger - where to get your Christmas stocking fillers in London
